"Quiet but dusty"

Not very crowded and lots of open space. Lots of forest road to ride your bike or go for a walk. In the summer everything is very dry and dusty but overall a nice place. Only a 15 minute drive from Flagstaff.

"Creekside camping"

Pretty steep entrance to get here. Arrived on a Saturday night and only one area wasn't already taken. You are camping below the highway so that noise competes with the flowing creek. No Sprint or T-Mobile. Verizon minimal.

"Beautiful Solitude"

Site 14 is within walking distance to the trailhead for Reynolds Hill Loop trail. It is a large, open flat site that would fit a larger rig but does have a pretty steep embankment off the main road. We bent 2 of the stabilizer jacks on our trailer... Read more

"Dirt Lot with Free Hookups"

This campground was very busy when we were here. Nearly all spots were full on a Monday night so get here earlier in the day. Sites are long but narrow so you will be very close to everyone. There is a public pool next door which small kids will... Read more

"Peaceful & Beautiful"

What a beautiful campground! The landscapers do a great job keeping the grass mowed and everything looking wonderful. Enjoyed watching all the bunnies and butterflies. Nearly had the place to ourselves on the weekdays.

"Beautiful Location but Limited Cell Signal"

Great campground but had to leave early due to limited cell signal for working remotely. Tried a few different campsites and had the most luck at a site that was down the road. It looked like a parking lot for a trailhead. Also noticed that the... Read more

"Small & Quiet"

There is NO WATER here. I had read some other reviews that mentioned water was available but that is no longer the case. The three sites in the back are away from the street with no traffic noise. The Big Muskie Bucket (an old piece of mining... Read more

"Peaceful & Free"

Internet service here is limited. Wasn't able to get any Sprint or T-Mobile signal. Verizon was ok. There is no water so plan accordingly. There are some trails at both ends of the campground but didn't use them.

"Affordable Lakeside Camping"

With over 120 sites, this campground is larger than most COE sites I've been too. The weekend I was here it was completely booked. The weekdays were a little quieter. There is a laundry room here with 2 washers and 2 dryers which was nice. Each... Read more

"Small, quiet campground"

Lots of tall mature trees for shade. We arrived after major rains and flooding so not sure if the area always has this many mosquitos. Never did see any alligator but did see a turtle, snake, raccoon, owls and other birds. If you hear something... Read more
