"Clean, Roomy park"

Very nice/large site but only peekaboo view of the lake. We were traveling thru for one night. We'd stayed at Cedar Creek (another army corp campground nearby) the week before and liked it. This is kept well like Cedar Creek but with bigger sites.... Read more

"Clean Campsite - Plenty of Room"

I paid $22 with the senior parks pass, otherwise would be $36. I never used the restrooms so I'm unable to review those. Campground hosts are consistently friendly and informative (you gotta love southern manners and hospitality). Sites are in... Read more

"Clean Campground"

I did not use the restrooms so cannot attest to cleanliness and function. Trash drop off and RV dump were available. Sites are well kept. A little close to other campers for my liking but I stayed one night so as to make a quick trip to one of... Read more

"Nice Park but Bad Odor"

I never used the restrooms so I can't vouch for them. The park is nice enough and very convenient for a quick trip into town (we hit a blues club on Beale Street). The sewage plant odor is a constantly present nuisance (not overwhelming). I'd do... Read more

"Quick Overnight Whileon the Road"

I pulled in on a rainy night, locked the car and retreated to the trailer for a meal and sleep. I never used any of the restroom facilities so I can't testify to their cleanliness or function. The grounds are well kept though. The place gets a... Read more

"Reservation System is Neglected"

The park is about 7 miles from I-40. We arrived at 4pm, dumped our tanks, filled a water jug and saw everything was reservation only. After fussing with reserveamerica's website finally got a reservation in the lakeside loop. The reservation email... Read more

"Many Sites with Great Views"

We arrived late and camped in a wide spot on the road about 1-1/2 miles in from the hwy 163 entrance. We disconnected the trailer and drove the 17 miles thru the monument as the sun was coming up the next morning. Great drive and I was glad I left... Read more

"Great Private Place to Camp"

We followed Beas Lewis Flat road to the cattle guard and turned right. Camped about 1/2 mile past the cattle guard. Very quiet on weeknights with other campers at least 200 yards away. Great spot just a short drive to the park.

"Good Base Camp to See Bryce"

I arrived at 10:30am on a Thursday and got one of the last sites. Friday was less pressure with the last site being taken around 2pm. Be sure to drive-thru regardless of the "campground full" sign. Hosts are not attentive to updating the sign. RV... Read more
