It is a rough steep ride up here. I would recommend high clearance vehicle.
There is a lot of very fine dirt in campsite, but we have a nice mat that helps keep things clean. Can’t beat the price and the view.

I arrived on Saturday without a reservation and was pleased to find a spot at
Sugarloaf 1. The sites are large and offer a lot of privacy between sites. There are water spigots throughout the campground and flush toilets.
