A nice basic campground in the forest. Mostly pine trees (didn’t see any aspen - quaking or otherwise), mountain wildflowers and crisp, clean air.

Even at 96 degrees, we were not the only campers at this remote desert campground! One other couple was enjoying the other end of the campground so it was as if we had the place to ourselves.

One of the cleanest and neatest parks I’ve ever seen! Each camp spot was raked clean by the camp host prior to guests arrival. There wasn’t a spot of trash to be seen anywhere. The camp host obviously takes pride in his duties.

We spent several nights below palm canyon in the flats during February of this year. We purposely arrived during a full moon as it presented breathtaking evening photography.
This place is just magical.
We spent several nights here last thanks giving. It was a awesome little lake with a great trail all the way around. Deer and turkey were everywhere. Really well kept camp grounds.
Week days are best.
This little campground is situated between Glenwood NM and Safford AZ. It’s a neat place with trails and lots of backwood roads. Well kept and easy access for truck and camper. The south end of the campground has a great view of the canyon.
