We arrived in Stanley on a Wednesday after reading about how competitive the campgrounds are there. Despite arriving mid week, we got the very last camp spot available between all campgrounds around Redfish (including Sunny Gulch) and all...
Great spot right on the river, walking distance to Ennis, and an hour or so drive to West Yellowstone. We stayed over 4th of July weekend, and arrived on a Wednesday to try and grab a spot, knowing it would be popular. We got a smaller spot one...
We arrived a couple week after the 2022 spring runoff that closed Yellowstone, and the river is still WAY too high to fish. That said, this spot is so gorgeous -- right on the river with mountain views and rolling green fields. We arrived on a...
Free! ($20/night with 20 amp hookup, free without hookups. No water or sewer hookups)
Free dump right across from where you park
Free water (RED taps, not teal ones!)
Lots of trash bins
1 mile from downtown
Great spot very centrally located, walkable to anywhere in town and 20 minutes from Sinks Canyon State Park. For $40/night with full hookups and facilities (price might be higher per night for fewer nights, and I think is cheaper the longer you...
Nice double dump that you can access going into our leaving the park. We were only here for dump + fill, which was a $15 fee. Potable water available at the far left dump lane (if you are entering the dump from the pay station). There is a trash...
We came here for use of the dump station and potable water while boondocking at the Old Airstrip off Cow Creek Rd. Be aware that, at least while we were here, park entrance is from 6am - 8pm. Use of the dump is $22. Dump is obvious not far from...
Kind of a painful visit. We planned to make it a one-stop shop for gas, propane, dump and water. Gas was fine and competitively priced but we had to go in to pre-pay for unknown reasons. Dump was a tight squeeze and required a code from inside...
Works well enough as a dump station, $10 and payable by card. There is a curb between the RV and dump, so the hose isn't able to sit on a down slope as well as would be nice. We were not clear if the water from the spigot was potable.
Great spot! We came in from the north, which is a nice ~6 mile easy dirt road. Coming in from the south would be 3-4 miles of easy dirt road. We camped at the main area, just south of the boat launch, which is up on a little plateau and overlooks...
