This park is downtown and has full hookups. Very quiet. Our only problem was weather related. It had rained for several days. At 2:45 am the sheriff woke us up saying we neede to move. A nearby creek had flooded the park and there was a foot of...
We have had trouble finding good sites through Florida. This campground is the crowning jewel! You do need a SUL permit, but it can be obtained online for the same day. When you arrive, just pick a spot in the grassy field and you are set! Dump...
We pulled in today with no reservations and had no problem getting a site. We were warned to keep our dog on a leash due to the alligators. Well spaced sites with tables and fire rings.
This park is right by the road, but road noise didn’t bother us at all! There are 4 actual campsites with a table on a covered pad with a bbq. There is plenty of other parking, but just need to leave room for the boaters to get in and out....
Beautiful park in the middle of town. Good cell coverage and to our surprise - free WiFi! Heavily treed with power and water at sites.
We pretty much had the camp to ourselves. Dry camping is $9, electric & water is $12 & full hookup is $15. Beautiful small lake with fantastic sunsets! Campsites are close together but plenty of walking area around the lake!
We’ve never seen sites so wide! Very clean, quiet and absolutely beautiful scenery!! Fee is normally $12, but with our Senior pass it was only $6. What a bargain! The camp hosts are just a kick and very helpful. The sewer connection was locked,...
Took the first site we came to & it was perfect! Camp ring with logs to burn & other campers far away. Our dog loved the freedom to roam! I would absolutely recommend this camp to others!!
We waited to see coyotes or at least to hear the howling at night. Nothing except a very dark and quiet night. Campground is clean with campsites set apart.
