"Dump station is still closed."

If you can't get a chance to dump/refill water in one of the private campgrounds the closest dumps to here are in Newport & Florence.

"Nice views along on the Alsea River"

The full hookup side was completely full so we stayed on the dry camping side. It's grass parking that includes a bench and fire pit. Half of the dry camping sites are right along the water. It's far enough away that you don't hear any traffic... Read more

"A parking lot that is a popular OHV staging area"

It's dry camping but there are flush toilets, a trash dumpster, and 3 potable water spigots. Most of the folks here are here with their OHV's and hitting the dunes so it gets pretty noisy during the day. On the flip side, it's a short walk over... Read more

"Free, clean, and QUIET!"

Amazing spot! Perfect for a stop over or a few days. FCFS, bring your own water, no hookups, pack it in/pack it out. The views! We stopped over and it was chilly on a late June evening (thanks to the elevation). We will definitely be back!

"Easy in and out"

You have to get the key from the cashier. They ask that you at least buy some gas. Otherwise it’s free to dump and they have potable water.

"Beautiful dry camping"

Currently the water hasn't been turned on at the park so the camping rate is only $8/night compared to the normal $15/night. The water is at faucets scattered around the park, not at every site. They ask that you do NOT fill your rig's fresh... Read more

"National Forest Camping"

The surrounding national forest was hit pretty hard with forest fires last year. In fact when we drove down the road to find the camping spots there were still several smoldering trees. The road is hard packed gravel and there's only 3 camping... Read more

"Beautiful, but can get busy on the weekends"

It's a beautiful area. We came in from the north on a 12-13 gravel road. There is some washboarding. We have a 31' class C and our level jacks did scrape in a couple of spots getting to the camp ground. I wouldn't bring in an RV any larger... Read more

"Easy access"

After deciding that Crane Falls wasn’t going to be easy access with our 32’ class c we came to Jack’s Creek. Most sites are on the water and level. The first site you come to is the smallest. Keep going if you want a larger spot. All sites a... Read more
