Stayed here two nights. Camped way back in a spot with only one rig near us. There are so many spots, even tho it seems like you might not find one, just keep driving down the many roads you're bound to find a spot. Heard coyotes many times.
This campground was really nice, lots of great spots. I don't know if it's because we came on a Friday but it was really crowded, mostly with big rigs. We managed to fit into a spot, but still felt too close to the rig beside us. People walking by...
Great little free camping spot.. Easy to find, and we had the place all to ourselves. Even got to see wild horses, and could hear donkeys at night.
Would have been nice had anyone mentioned a $20 fee just to get into the area.. Making it not very free. $20 per car. Perhaps we will go check it out once we can afford that.
