"Best for a 1 night quickie"

A dozen pretty level sites within 2 miles of highway with awesome cell, (you can see the tower across the valley). Don't bother going up the mountain unless you are tent camping.

There are 2 ways into the area. 315 suffered damage during summer rains (2021) and is not a good option for any RV. The 305 route is too tight for anything over 28'. We have no problem with our 22' TT. Lots of ATV's and motorcycles all day long... Read more

"Great Boondockin" Area"

We camped about 2 miles past the ATV parking lot. The farther you get from the lot, the quieter it gets. We had shade, plenty of solar sun and a view of Pikes Peak. Friday afternoon there were dozens of sites open in early June. And NO mosquitos!
