It is a small camp for small rigs. The gravel spots are too narrow and have a slat so it is a bit awkward. But the place has great views of badlands

"Nice setup for fishers "

Reserve or walk up reservation web makes it 2 days in advance. We did walk up. FCFS and it was nice because not as crowded. The bathrooms are porcelain. Quiet place. Walk to beach large lake.

This is about a mile and a half off the highway. Close the gate. Mostly used by climbers. We were able to manage the rocky road. I would avoid it after it rains. There are many sites here, but they are better suited for car or tent campers. ... Read more
