"beautiful lake views but buggy. "

This is a great place to stay for the lake views and large space for any rig with easy access. Only 2 other rigs here. Close to Provo with scenic drive around the lake. The downside is the mayflies; there are a million of them and they like to... Read more

"Great woodsy area"

A place for any size rig. Some large pullouts with 'pods' of rigs to more woody spots further into the forest. You can find as much shade or sun as needed. Cell signal varies greatly, scout around for good signal. Close to Flagstaff and... Read more

"Great spot"

Visited 6/1-6/11. Easy to find. First mile of road is rocky & very bumpy, then goes to just bumpy washboard. Numerous pull offs for any size rig, mostly level. Very windy and dusty and HOT. The regional airport is nearby and provides entertainment... Read more

"Worth checking out"

Visited 5/28-6/1. Escaped the noise of off roaders in Pike NF to come to this quiet and picturesque camping area. Great view of the snow capped mountains and reservoir. This is still at elevation so it was breezy and chilly at night. Full for the... Read more

"good spot except for holiday weekends"

Visited 5/24-5/28. Was beautiful and quiet until we got near the weekend, then it filled up and got noisy with off road vehicles. Roads in were ok, typical dirt washboard bumpy roads. Not much nearby; Lake George with limited groceries and propane.

"Wide open and great views"

Visited 5/22-5/23. The camping area is wide open with great views of the snow capped mountains. The short stretch of washboard dirt road has a few large pull offs for numerous rigs. After that it turns to a rocky rutted road that is really not... Read more

"Quiet and worth going out of your way"

The camping area for RVs was ok; 3 regular sites(RV01-RV03)and 2 in the middle of the parking lot(RV04 & RV05). The sites are all uneven. The night sky was great. Was very windy and hot every day I was there(5/13-5/21). A 20 minute drive to most... Read more

"good layover spot"

The sites were all pull thru, level with full hookups, really no shade, the staff was friendly and helpful, the bathrooms older but very clean, laundry worked fine. Downside: you can hear the traffic from I-10 and there is a train that passes a... Read more

"Quiet and secluded, but..."

Easy to get to if going off exit 6 as other reviews stated. Coming in from the south, the route takes you thru a particularly bad segment of roadway. Stay to the left when entering, on the gravel road, and find a spot from there. It's all sandy... Read more

"busy but great location"

This place was very busy, note it was Easter weekend, but there were still sites available. Once in off the highway, took the first left turn onto a a bumpy road but was rewarded with less rigs crowded together. Just past was an RC airplane... Read more
