I almost hate to add this to the list as it’s such a nice experience to finally find a campground that’s not overrun. Most sites with access to the river, the nearby dirt road with barely any traffic. Campground will close for the season on Sept 28.

Tiny campground but awesome. If you’ve got a tent, the walk in sites across Falls Creek looked great.

Good amount of room, plenty of space between sites. Free with Discover Pass. Lots of campers appear to be here “for the duration.” But you can drive down onto the gravel river bar if you need more privacy.
