"Greatest campground I'll never return to..."

The very first thing that needs to be mentioned is the staff, they were exceptional. All over the park, the upgrades are more than obvious and ongoing. While we were here they repaired a few areas on the roads and several hip-height marker... Read more

"The last hour of my drive in was in the dark, they're still searching for my seat cushion!"

I drive a crew cab, 4x4, 2500 diesel with AT tires. My TT is 36' long and has an MGVW of 9980 lbs. My rear gray tank was 1/2 full and my fresh water tank was full. The road going in has got to be one of the most spectacular roads I've ever been... Read more

"Winter Wonderland at 7,000'"

We knew it was going to start to snow the day we arrived and the forecasters didn't disappoint. All told, over the course of ten days, I'd say we got a total of three feet of snow. The staff here worked constantly to keep the roads clear and... Read more

"Couldn't take it any longer and had to leave early..."

The park is old, run down, and not well maintained. There are a limited number of 50 amp sites, and one whole side of the park doesn't have sewer. The sites are nice and wide, I'll give them that much. Our first day there we get a knock on the... Read more

"Canals, not lakes, beautiful park."

I really liked this park and think I got there in the fly's off-season. The lakes were finger canals with opaque water. They are stocked with tilapia and you can fish there for a fee, $12 iirc. There were ducks and geese waddling all over the... Read more

"Looks like some much needed work is getting done and very functional wi-fi."

I had a bit of a hard time finding a 50 amp site and am fairly sure I got the last one, being disabled has its perks, lol. It looked like it was suffering from neglect over the years but I also saw a lot of that work being worked on. Like almost... Read more

"First Thousand Trails park."

This park is really nice. It's a bit older and the sites are showing signs of age a bit. Mostly what you normally expect in the southern California desert, sand, tall palm trees, and cracked roads. The sites seem to have all been paved at one... Read more

"Tiny sites, gravely dirt, and exceptional views"

This place has the most spectacular views, I wish I was a good enough photographer to capture them well. The park is clean, very clean, all the dirt is kept raked and level. The sites are tiered so currently there are hardly any obscured views.... Read more

"Quick overnight stop."

This RV park is located in the middle of the city and they've crammed as many spaces in it as possible. The sites were so close to each other that there isn't room to back into sites. They solve this by having you drop your rig and they use a... Read more

"Nice older park. Off road trails nearby."

Some last minute plan changes led us to needing a place to put our RV for a night. We liked the place so we extended our stay a week. The staff are easy to work with and are as accommodating. This place has a nice vibe to it, more like I'm in a... Read more
