We are fairly new campers, and didn’t realize the popularity of ATV/OHV vehicles. Additionally, this campground is close to a train crossing and there are LOTS of trains day and night. We did enjoy driving out to and climbing the fire tower....

Our first time at a Corps of Engineers camp, but it certainly won’t be our last. We stayed one night at Redman Creek West. It was easy to make and pay for a reservation on Recreation.gov. We are totally self-contained, but sometimes it’s nice to...

Enjoyed two nights here in June 2021. Site 6 is waterfront with a great view - we enjoyed watching the osprey fly back and forth. The campsite is removed from the boat ramp, so very little extra traffic. We would return here in a heartbeat!

We stayed one night in the Cottonwood campsite - came to see the Great Conjunction of Saturn and Venus. Great place to see the sky - so many stars! Practicing our winter camping! Some road noise.

We stayed at Spring Creek Campground on 9-24-20. It's small but lovely; the creekside sites are especially nice, but we were not able to snag one of those. The opposite side backs up to the road, which changes from paved to gravel right outside...

Edit - this review should be for North Bank Campground, across the river and road.
We were tucked away here in the valley with the aspens. We could not get a site by the river, but all the sites were lovely and well spaced. We had no problem...
