Close to NYC. 6 blocks to Path to get to the city. We chose to walk to Statue of Liberty 40 minutes (if raining which it was when we went we were soaked) drive to parking think it was $7.00

We stayed here 5 nights. From booking the stay lady I reserved with knew we wanted to use mass transit and needed to use showers so made sure we were close to both.
Restrooms were spotless.

We stayed here one night. Pit FILTHY TOILETS we camp a lot are in our 70’s have stayed with pit toilets rarely have we found so poorly maintained spiderwebs were ancient let alone the toilet ! Showers were warm but not real clean.
Host scolded us...
We camped here the last of August 2022. A short walk to river. Just sat by river and enjoyed quiet. Restrooms were new and spotless. Showers cost a quarter for believe 5 minutes. Showers were also clean. Park was very clean plenty of room...
VEry rough. Was hot 100 degrees and dry. Dry was good would not advise camping here if wet. We’re glad to have electric. Shared water with another camper who did have a splitter on spigot but they had spigot off so we used as needed and turned...
We were able to get another campers reservations who didn’t arrive on Labor Day weekend. Campground was spotless. Restrooms were spotless Laundry was clean even had steamer available for guests. 1/2 mile from ocean. Full hookups
We camped in #17. There was a water hydrant in rear of spot. Spot was level and blacktop. Plenty of room for both our 21’ camper plus our truck. No view. 1/4 mile hike to bathrooms. 1/2 mile hike to Diablo lake.
Staff very friendly and helpful even directed/ parked us in to spot. We have family in Cheyenne have stayed here in the past but they have done some bathroom renovations. Our site was at the far west on grass very quiet
