We were lucky to find a spot during the week. There were only 4 empty ones, and we arrived early in the afternoon. Clean campground, nice site, and very quiet overnight. Cell service was great. Can’t believe this hidden gem is free!

Spent time here two nights. Daytime temps were in the 80s, with a nice afternoon breeze. Found a nice flat spot for the RV, and had no need for levelers. The long time “residents” were friendly, and one of them rode around on his bike...

Road going up the hill was not too bad for our RV. Roads below had some muddy spots, and were rough.
Found space 8 to be relatively flat. Had a beautiful red fox run through our site early the next morning.

Stayed at Buffalo Gap in August 2017. It is a great no hookups park that has easy access to the Interstate, and is big RV friendly.

Easy to get to campground. The campground was nice, hosts were efficiently.
Didn't enjoy hearing the highway noise during our stay. Did like having the river behind our site.

Looks like the price per night went up in August 2017, from the fabulous $5.00 to $8.00 a night. Still a bargain! This is our 3rd stay here.
