"Small, quiet, friendly, efficient"

We only had one night here, but will definitely be back. It's a very small park, so has a casual, relaxed vibe, and is very quiet. Spaces are level and easy to get into, and it's right on the beach. There's a communal space on the lawn for... Read more

"Old people acting old"

Sure, we're over 55. 70 and 61, if you must. But this place is a tight graveyard. They're scared of people driving over 5 mph. Navigation within the park is nearly impossible, even with a map, there are hundreds of spaces. Street signs would help.... Read more

"I'd rather be boondocking"

They advertise satellite internet, but it doesn't work, we were told because the owners don't know how to hook it up. So no, they DO NOT have satellite internet. Luckily, it's close enough to town that we had 5G on AT&T and Verizon, so I could at... Read more

"Clean, quiet, friendly"

The review that says they treat you like family -- or better -- is certainly still true. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. The best part of our stay was that, even though we didn't have a full hookup site, you can text them and they'll... Read more

"Super-hospitable, but very tight"

The staff were excellent, very friendly and personable. There were a few permanent residents which led to the spot looking a little rundown, but everyone was very respectful and quiet. Spaces are extremely tight, though, and very close together.... Read more

"Noisiest campground EVER"

No, not "outside" noise, like railroad tracks or highway noise, which the park can't control so shouldn't be blamed for. But: Tuesday, grass-cutting day; Wednesday, trash pickup day; Thursday, grass-cutting the sites that didn't get cut Tuesday... Read more

"Great if you like barking dogs"

The people next to us had three dogs that barked--and this is no exaggeration, we timed it--for at least three hours, non-stop, every afternoon. And on-and-off throughout the day as well. You're thinking, "That's not the park's fault!" but, oh yes... Read more

"Don't judge a book by its cover"

At first glance, this may not seem an "upscale" park (especially in summer, when the grass is brown). Don't let first appearances fool you. Get a premium site (well worth the few dollars more) that backs onto the water and enjoy the view and fresh... Read more

"Great mineral water; shame about the stealing"

We’ve stayed in this resort for several years, and every year we hear more and more stories about the theft that runs rampant throughout the park. Bikes, furniture, grills, propane tanks, even golf carts get stolen on a regular basis—even when... Read more

"Bring your DEET"

Great location right near the National Park. We didn't feel particularly welcome at check-in. We didn’t use the showers, but a neighbor did and said they were, “Not as bad as some I’ve seen.” Laundry was okay. We would have loved to sit outside... Read more
