"Great spot away from it all, yet so close."

Great spot away from it all, yet so close. Nice and quiet, yet a 20 minute drive to Mammoth visitors center. Great Verizon 30/10, AT&T might be had with boosting.

"Great spot with a view of the dunes!"

In order to stay here you need a CPW SWA pass available from any CPW issuer, including the Mosca Pit Stop which is 1/2 mile south of the highway turnoff. It’s a 10 minute drive if you’ve made it to the campground without your SWA pass. The Mosca... Read more

"Easy access and great water pressure"

This is right off 24 before town. We pulled up to dump bladders and fill two water bladders. Amazing water pressure when filling the bladders. Best dump around!

"Quiet overnight stop"

Nice spot to stay overnight. Far enough off the freeway so it was quiet. Good cell signal; 50/28 with AT&T.

"Gorge-s Place to stay in NY"

Our back-in 30-amp only site was big enough for a 33’ Class C with plenty of space left. The short hike to the nice bath house made it easier to outlast the rain. Being only minutes from the gorge trail, or a drive into town, this is a great park... Read more

"Cozy electric sites with amazing hiking"

While the electric only sites are tiny the amazing hiking makes up for that fact. Little internet in the campground but plenty at the overlook and beach.

"Lakefront without the cost!"

Check out more info on www.letstravelfamily.com While driving here make sure and follow Co Hwy EE all the way to the end, so not follow the navigation directions, unless you are staying at sites 61-71. Something else to note about sites 61-71,... Read more

"Stopped for a night"

WOW!! $19 for full hookups was an amazing rate! The park is well-maintained with a beach, playground, etc. Great Verizon and AT&T coverage here makes it another worthwhile stop or long stay. To echo what the other reviewer said, yes, the roads... Read more

"Nice parking lot overnight"

Stayed here in our way through all the Redwood forests. Like previous reviews said, get players club card, then check in with security. Even had slides out and generator running since it was hot. Would stay again on the way through.

"Quiet, primitive, narrow"

Getting to the campground was fairly easy. Came on Labor Day weekend so unfortunately the river spots were taken. Camped back in first part of the loop. 33' Class C was tight. Good Verizon and no AT&T. Only downsides were smoke from nearby fires... Read more
