"Nice level sites, shade trees"

Trails, wildlife, a nicely maintained campground with mostly level sites. Birding and fishing are big here. Bathrooms are a little old, but they do the job. No complaints. Not a ton to do; but it’s a great place to just kick back and relax.

"Really nice lake"

Enjoyed my stay. Did a lot of kayaking. There’s good fishing and decent trails. Love how shaded it is and that I could put my kayak right in the lake from my spot. Remember your park pass. You really do want to grab one for the discounts!

"Fun park close to Waco attractions"

Small campground but nice. Boating, fishing, playground, clean bathrooms. Good variety of sites. Appreciated having full hookup available. It’s also pretty close to Waco attractions but you will need a car to get around. Enjoyed my stay!

"Quiet park, well kept"

Nice, quiet park with a lake swimming area and easy boating. Not a ton to do beyond your basic camp out activities, but still fun! Better maintained than the two closest campgrounds. Roads are better and campsites flatter.

"A great overnight"

Just passing through. Well kept. Not crowded. Doesn’t look like there’s a lot to do, but it’s a comfy place to stay. There’s only a few full hook up sites FYI.
