This should only be used as an evening stopover when traveling I-10. It is horrendously noisy with the traffic on I-10 and the trains that pass by blowing their horns. It's cheap though, and perhaps the best option out there in west Texas.

This is NOT a pretty park, it is ugly. However, it was quiet and a great option for an overnight when traveling I-10. The best sites are the dry camping ones, as they are right on the reservoir. I would not spend more than one night here.
