Had a 2 day stay booked at a primitive site for $80 that had to be cancelled. It said $20 cancellation fee on the website but it’s $20 plus another $10 (booking fee is not refunded either). For a total of $30. Lol

It’s Walmart and it’s free. No hassles and conveniently located. With plenty of space for any size rig. I felt safe and it was quiet.

It’s just off 89 but the road noise is minimal. When i got there, at about 5:30, it was empty. A few people arrived just before dark but there where still plenty of spaces left open.

Plenty of room for anyone to dump and the fresh water is at pump #22. If you need propane the marathon gas station across from Walmart has some. It’s just down the road.

"So close to the rim!"

The campground is well maintained. The people at the office are nice and very helpful. The walk to the rim is about 1 mile and really beautiful.

Wow! Love this place. The entrance road is rough but just take it slow. Once you pass the cattle guard it’s smooth sailing, and there are plenty of well spaced camping spots to choose from. ENJOY!
