We stopped in with no reservations and snagged a site with a gorgeous view (no services). The ladies working the ranger station were incredibly helpful, cheery and knowledgeable. They gave us several site options and advised us on which ones had...
First the pros:
1. Beautiful, decently spaced sites with some available alongside the water.
2. Not crowded!
3. Great internet (if you need to work)

The entire campground is First Come First Served, which is great for a couple of ramblin’ anti-planners. Expect the campground to get full nightly during peak season. We squeaked in with our 31’ trailer, but it was tight and limited our site...
It was going to be hot and we wanted to run the AC, so we grabbed a few nights here. I would stay again in similar circumstances, but I would rather stay at the Provincial Parks in the area if the weather is nice.
Plenty of first-come sites and an overflow area pretty much guarantee a spot.
High price for a provincial park
Sites can be unlevel. We needed 6 blocks.

Pros: free, beautiful, cell service.
Cons: can be very crowded by day use and fellow campers. Some people don’t clean up their trash.
Note: there are three places that do not have trees on the shoreline. Those are boat ramps. Don't park in...
