"Temporarily Closed "

Campground Is temporarily CLOSED with gate/signs. We didn’t believe google Maps, but they were right. Hwy 71 south was very smooth pavement. As this was a very remote location, we decided to chance it and parked close to the sign. .

"Neat and Tidy Park"

We stayed here one night before heading to Chiracahua national monument We took advantage of clean showers and laundry facilities. Ask for a key to access bathrooms after 8pm. Pleasant people. Rate is with Good Sam discount.

"Cheaper dry camping if you like"

The campground was full until we asked for dry camping which I think they hold for tent campers. This area is closest to river, quiet and darker given hillside you back up to. These sites are 30’ or less and not all level, so maybe look first.... Read more
