We stayed on the loop on the other side close to a overlook of the canyon below. The forest road is pretty well maintained. Cell signal is best closest to the main road. But we were able to get 4 bars on AT&T.

Enjoyed just one overnight in dispersed camping. It gets busy on holiday weekends. But the situation of the campsites are idyllic on the river.
