"Beautiful Campground off the highway and on the river."

We only stayed 2 nights but really enjoyed this campground. About 1 1/2 miles off the highway, 13 miles to Pagosa Springs. Easy walk to the river. No cell service.

"Great for one night"

We arrived late in the day on our way to Leadville. Great spot for one night, I wouldn't want to stay any longer. We did just stay in the front parking lot because it was late in the day. ATVs going by at 3 am.

"Boon docking at it's best!"

"Beautiful View of Turquoise Lake"

We camped about 50 feet from the edge of the lake. it is a parking lot but very large spaces. we were actually in the overflow area but it was great. if you haven't been to turquoise lake, put it on your list.

"Remote and empty"

Beautiful and secluded. The road is paved except for the last 1.5 miles. not a big deal even for a 40' bus. very quiet, very nice campsites. The only problem is no water and no trash receptacles. It's about 25 miles Durango to dump tanks get water... Read more

"Excellent!"

Beautiful and well off the highway, about 1 1/2 miles down a gravel road that is well maintained. No cell phone signal, none. About 14 miles to Pagosa Springs. Easy access to the San Juan river.
