Way better than the Joshua tree north site. No privacy which is just how the desert works. Good sites. Mostly in a wash so sandy and a bit deep in some places so be careful and all wheel drive is a must. Quiet but was busy.

There is a shooting range nearby so there are non-stop gunshots. Started as early as 8 am. You can’t swim or do anything in the lake other than fish. For the price, it’s really not worth it.
