We had a great time camping at Lone Tree BLM. Easy access to Lake Havasu City. Great bike riding in town, fun Spring Break atmosphere. While in town, we kayaked to California, LOL. Just across the lake at a narrow spot. We also did a fun day...
We spent a great two weeks at one of my Hubbs' favorite spots. Listening to the river just outside our camper is a bonus.

Great overnight option. The Walmart in Cortez was our original plan, but this was soooo much better. We enjoyed the wide open (solar friendly) spot we found....previously occupied by horse campers, LOL. Well maintained roads and not much traffic.
We hiked about 12 days out of the 14 days. Lovely desert landscape (tons of cactus). We saw desert big horn sheep and deer. After a full day of rain...waterfalls...what a rare desert treat.
Loved this gem. Short drive to Bryce for great hiking.
"Great access to Bryce Canyon National Park and Red Rock Canyon. 7700 ft elevation. Wooded area. "
