The season for this Campground is relatively short due to its high elevation. You can't get in till July and we were amongst the last Campers on oct 20.

We love this campground. Aspen trees , huge granite boulders, & great views of the mountains above. It's only $18 a night. The vault toilets were the cleanest I've ever seen. There are no showers, just fyi. The fishing is good, & your right...
We stayed here 2 days while waiting for our reservation at grover hot springs state park nearby. I was very impressed with the bathroom/ shower! They were new & as clean as you will find anywhere.
It also had bear boxes, fire pits & grill....
