I happened upon a truck from the wastewater division of truth or consequences and asked the driver about the dump station being closed. He said it was closed due to lack of revenue. I wonder how the tax paying residents and rv owners feel about this!

We followed user “ChrisRoams” directions along with the gps route. Drove no more than 1/2 mile in and found a level spot for the night. No one else around, quiet and dark!
Perfect place to rest up if coming from the east.
Park the RV, take a short walk to the shuttle and go anywhere you need to in Grand Canyon area. Dump and water at campground entrance.
