"Not much around."

The location of this CG is ideal. The camp sites were level with power HU only, not too close together. The signs are confusing, the toilets were filthy, and the staff was barely helpful. Other than the dunes and beech, there's not too much... Read more

"Lots of good restaurants in Ludington"

With level sites, great hiking and biking trails productive fishing, kayak launch, camp store this is one of our favorite CGs. The sites are a bit close. If you go hiking, I suggest you take a trail map. the trails a numerous, but well marked.

"In the heart of a great recreational area"

National campgrounds can't be beat; no exception here. Second time here. We're in the woods, with privacy, clean toilets and showers, level site, dry firewood at the general store just down the road, power only hook up, and lots to do. In... Read more

"Lots to join Mackinaw City"

We've been here once before; one of our favorites. We were right on the Lake Michigan shore and could see freighters in the distance headed for the straights. 30a and 20a hookup only . Our site #448 was almost level. Mackinac City is close by... Read more

"Kind of remote, come prepared, including camera."

With close proximity to the upper and lower falls and White Fish Point, this is an ideal CG to enjoy the local attractions. The park is fairly remote though; come prepared. Site 111 was fairly level with 30a and 20a power. Hiking trail are close... Read more

"Beautiful spot "

This is a rustic municipal CG, right on Lake Superior. Kind of no-frills, but one of my favorites on this trip. Hint: bring 50' of water hose. P&W hookups only, some pull-thrus. Camp store with generous fire wood and good local information and... Read more

Right on Lake Michigami, we had a view of the lake because the ranger suggested our reserved site was not very level; #41 was. Typical MI campground, power only, but dumpstation and water available as you leave. The sites are not too close, and... Read more

"Feels like end of the road"

On 9.13.21, we were too early for fall color at Keweenaw Peninsula. Fort Wilkins State Park is somewhat typical of MI sate parks. Electric only with dump station and water available. Sites 150 - 160 are pull thru, but there are virtually no level... Read more

"Right on Kewenaw Bay"

This would be a gem of a campground, if only it wasn't so close to US 41. Nice wooded, electric only camp sites, great shower/toilet facilities, neat path; we enjoyed this park, except for the traffic noise. Baraga on the other hand is close to... Read more

"A nature trail and museum are near by."

Situated in a baseball & football complex, this is a small city CG with back-in, close, FHU, grass campsites. There were several tent only sites. On 9.9.21 the RV/trailer section was nearly full. The shower and toilet facilities were last cleaned... Read more
