"Cool location on river, very convenient to Prez Library"

We really liked the location on the river. It was easy to get to. The neighborhood is a little iffy but there are services and a good strip of restaurants on Main St. Park is gated at 5 or 6 so be sure to call ahead if you plan on coming in after... Read more

"Lovely, friendly spot we used as base camp to visit Shiloh"

We arrived after dark, nonetheless this park greeted us like a long lost friend. Easy access, forrested campground, walking distance to trails and lots to explore. Stars at night. Good bathrooms, diverse types of sites to choose from. Most had... Read more

"Totally fine and convenient to Oxford"

The sites themselves were very good--well thought out, level, spacious. Hookups worked great. The campground itself was in a natural setting, at then end of rural road. Lots of lovely nighttime sounds from critters in the marshy surrounds. Not... Read more

"We loved it and the scenery grows on you..."

We picked this spot as a base to do White Sands and the space museum in Alomogordo. At first the terrain didn't strike me, but then, after seeing the sunset, the stars and especially doing a hike (from the CG), it really charmed us! Position... Read more

"Magical little campground"

We stayed here on our visit to the Very Large Array (awesome!). Not much else around so very pleased to have a cheap, cozy BLM campground all to ourselves. Bathrooms were very clean. No hook ups. Not much in the way of supplies etc around though... Read more

"Cozy RV park close to town, but with a rural feel"

This is a cozy spot, a smaller RV park that butts right up against open farm land, but is only a few miles from town. The wifi was excellent. The laundry worked great - only a dollar per use of the washer and dryer which was nice. Lee (owner) was... Read more

"Great for a FREE city campsite"

We were headed east from Carlsbad Caverns to Ft. Worth, and found this free (with hook ups!) city park campground to be very convenient, on the way, right off 180. There were a few other campers there...they shared that some of the electric hook... Read more

"Not horrible, but not good"

We were in Ft. Worth at the same time as the stock show, otherwise we would have tried to stay downtown at the Will Rogers center...this private park was on our way and we figured it was best to grab a spot where we could find one (about 15 miles... Read more

"Just about everything you want in a public city campsite"

This is no frills urban - ish parking. A wide open, flat gravel lot, with rv's lined up side by side. Not scenic at all, but not depressingly desolate. (Not trying to be something it's not). There were a decent number of rigs here when we were,... Read more
