This state park has some interesting history which makes it worth a stop. There are a few trails. The bison were not out when we were there.

This park is located on the Hudson River. There is boat access at the picnic area. Disappointed the trails didn't give you views of the river.
Getting to the park is a bit tricky. We had to cross the river and then loop back along 2 lane road...

I give this a 3.5. When we first pulled and we saw all the tent campers and trailer intermixed, I had my concerns. But, it grew on me. Everyone quieted down at the appropriate hour. Everyone was friendly.
