The people here are really nice. The reservoir is a fraction of what it should be so it’s not “waterfront.” Facilities were run down but functional. It served our purpose great for a stopover and to drain our tanks.

Get here in the shoulder seasons! It’s perfect! Camp was about 10 percent full and we got a prime spot tucked up close to the Sierras. It gets cold at night and the spots take some magic to get level but once you do it’s gorgeous!

There are a lot of bad reviews on here for this location. When we stayed here it was quiet and beautiful. The weekend brought in weekend warriors with OHV but we stayed near the SW of the camping area and away from the activity and all was fine.... Read more
