Stopped for the night in the way to Roswell to sleep for the night it's a rest area so there is a lot of noise and trucks in and out but they have cute picnic tables, trash cans, and even restrooms.

We ended up staying the full three days there's trash and vault toilets. Roads were nice and graveled just washboard. Mountains are all around and a lake with birds are in front. The site is pretty much right when you pull in by the picnic tables...

Not a bad spot right off the highway for a free night of sleep. Even has a gas station right across the road. There's picnic tables and grills bit the noise from the trains and trucks are the main downfall.
Thoughts this would be free but it is not $20 a night and so is the fairground but you do get hookups at least electric and water.
