"Pretty quiet, basically no cell. Can camp in boat parking lot if CG is full"

Still working on the road, so you will get dirty. You may find some cell down by the lake. Decent solar. Justin lets latecomers camp in the boat parking lot. It's still a long way to the NP from here. Road work starts at 7. Some ATV traffic during... Read more

"Huge parking area, but nothing to do here."

We got stuck in Rock Springs waiting on a truck part, so spent 3 days here. It can get pretty windy, so don't put your awning out. The edges of the giant pea gravel area are more solid than the center. We saw 4 pronghorn, but nothing else. I'd... Read more

"Big rig friendly, sort of. "

Look at the website to see the campground layout and which sites are bigger and which ones are first come first serve. The map is also on the kiosk at the entrance. Site #1 is the latter and is supposedly 60 feet, but it is pretty curved and it... Read more

"Appropriate for tents or smaller trailers."

The road all the way out to Boulder Lake Lodge is great, having been treated with magnesium chloride. We were doing 50mph in places. There are possible big rig campsites along the whole way. We drove out at 11 on Sunday July 4, and there were... Read more

"Recent fire, three pull through sites"

A couple miles from the highway, washboard road. We didn't camp but wanted to make a review. We hiked. The campground needs some mowing, etc, but there were picnic tables and fire rings. The sites were level. Maybe big enough for a medium rig. The... Read more

"Scenic, quiet"

We've learned it's better not to move on the weekend, so we ended up here on a Friday morning and stayed two nights. We were right on the water. There's lots of interesting birds. It was cold a rainy both days. We tried hiking at the Routt access... Read more

"Not bad, for a parking lot. "

They take senior and handicapped passes, not annual interagency. Please, keep your tow vehicle and your rig in your slot. Hanging out in the road is not cool. About a third of the slots are taken with people tenting in the grass, which is fine.... Read more

"Go in off county road #32 and you'll be fine. The closer you are to the top, the better the cell service. "

The Evergreen Bus review was pretty odd, IMO. Do this: Go to the free dump station in town first, then go to Jorgensen Park to get water. Turn left off Tomichi Ave onto Teller St and there's a yard hydrant right there by the Visitor Center. Go in... Read more

"The best deal in the area"

$7 with the Interagency meaning senior or handicapped not Annual. Jerry the CG host checked this for me. The CG is right on the creek. It's probably not for huge rigs. There's a couple boondocking spots up the gravel road for smaller rigs.

"More rustic than One Mile but right by the river. "

Probably not for big rigs, but we were able to get in and out with our 30 ft 5th wheel. The first couple of sites and a couple at the end might work. The road in is pretty rough. $9 for "Interagency", which probably means senior or handicapped,... Read more
