We arrived there with our Harvest Hosts membership, so had a free first night. But so much appreciated it that we decided to stay an extra paying night.

The camping is free but you have to get the $5 yearly parking permit for your vehicle. Which you can get et The Big Store (2385 State Hwy 87, Crystal Beach, TX 77650, États-Unis).
We camped there during February so it was empty. Nobody else was...
Even if we didn't camp there we were allowed to fill up our clear water tank for $15.
They also allow dumping for the same price. In brief for $15 for each service.

Few people came to land their boat. A bit more came to enjoy the park on...

The campground is nice and clean and well situated. So close to nice white beach! That National Park is...
We're newly traveling the US with our RV and it was our first US National Park Campground. We had quite a hard time to figure out the 48hrs in advance reservation vs the First Arrived First Served system with pay in the envelope stuff 🤔
"What a nice free beach camping"
