We needed a quick in and out spot as we were passing through and this worked great. It is not the most beautiful park but pretty clean and well kept.

"fairly easy access from I-10"

The dump is just past the RV pumps and is pretty easy to get into but getting out was a bit less clear due to some construction but we managed. The dump area is NOT very level. There is water but not clear if it is potable or not.

"First experience at this type of site, loved it"

We stayed here in mid November and enjoyed the cool nights and a nearly empty campground area. We could only see 2-3 others campers arouns us, the closest was 2-300 yards away

"Dump station worked fine, display on unit not so good"

The dump station is on lane 16 in the RV lanes. You have to go through lane 16 to get to it so this can lead to a backup if it were busy. I got right it, got some fueld and then used teh dump and filled with fresh water.

We came in after dark and left before sun came up. Seemed to be an older rest area with end to end parking instead of side by side lanes more common in more updated rest areas
