"close to I-25 & Hwy 380, good for an overnight."

Have stopped here several times and enjoy the convenience. This year the mosquitoes are thick! Big cottonwoods for some shade, mid-80's for high temp, 50's for low. No trouble getting in or out with our rig. Three other rigs here, room for several... Read more

"nice park"

Non electric site with picnic table. Fairly flat. Dump station, showers, and water available. Clean, well kept, friendly and helpful host. Couple of trails to hike.

"nice enough boondocking"

Oliver Lee was full, this dispersed area worked fine. About a dozen sites, some suitable for big rigs, some sized for tent camping. Other boondockers were quiet when we were there. Typical desert scrub & sites were relatively clean (didn't see any... Read more

"pretty grounds, quiet"

Far enough off hwy to be quiet; lake access; picnic Ramada. Old, but is being remodeled & updated as of Nov 2020. Deer mow the lawn at night. Easy access off Hwy. Several permanent/seasonal RV's, but many open spots when we were there. Friendly... Read more

"One night ok"

$20 cash, no amenities, no cell service, marginal shade some sites. Easy in, easy out. Just off hwy at bottom of hill, so trucks using engine brake are loud. If you're looking for cheap with hookups it's ok for a night.

"Inexpensive full hookups"

Older place with mature trees and lots of long term RV's. Good for kids and dogs. Quiet at night. Looong sites, so be aware of the length of your electric cord and sewer hose. Laundry room. Dump site near laundry available for $5, if that's all... Read more

"Close to hwy, but decent sized spaces; little bit of shade."

July 2020; 107 degrees when we pulled in at 2:30. Just wanted a place to chill in our A/C, and this was fine. Winkelman Park is closed as of this date, as is Kearny Park, so it was this or continue on to Tucson. Hwy noise was hard to hear over the... Read more

"Lots of traffic, lots of dust, lots of shooting. Other than that it was OK"

July 2020, hot, needed a place to stay at some altitude with shade. This fit the bill for that. Good location for visiting Walnut Canyon, Sunset Crater, and the various pueblo/cliff dwelling ruins. Flagstaff close with all amenities. Cell signal... Read more

"OK in a pinch, or just for an overnight"

Super deep, flour fine dust. Road in was dry when we stayed, but if wet it would be a nightmare of mud. There are plenty of sites here; we counted 8, and there were probably more beyond where we camped.

"FR 64g off of HWY 64 about 1 mile W. from intersection with HWY 285"

There are several forest roads in this area; 64G is the one we camped on. Plenty of room for big rigs, access decent when we were there June 2020. Several sites just off Hwy 64, more sites up the road. Road gets narrow and rough after the first... Read more
