"Fairly Quiet January Camping"

A couple people camped further in. We stayed 2 nights. Other than cold and wind. It was a nice stay. Heard coyotes on the second night. Nice stop over on our way to Quartzite.

Definitely packed in. Positives. Great city access. Across Hudson River to Liberty park. View of Statue of Liberty. Laundry facility and showers/bathrooms. Electricity and water. Dump station. Security 24/7. Felt very safe. Staff are all helpful.... Read more

"Awesome"

Had a great stay at Chilvers park. Also had an awesome storm display of lightning and thunder with rain. The park is beautiful walking distance to Mary’s restaurant. There is also keystone bar. The bathroom needs clean up. But otherwise lovely.... Read more

Was a nice campsite. Bummer people are so trashy. Trash, clothes and diapers in water. People left trash bags by the pit bathrooms. Toilet seat broken unusable. We usually pick up trash left behind, but there was so much trash it would have taken... Read more

"Great stop"

Very quiet park. Great price. Dry camping. Has showers and bathrooms. Along a creek. Does have poking burrs. Gets on clothes and on dogs !
