"In the middle of nowhere, but nice site"

Definitely OUT there. About 2 hours from the heart of Death Valley national park. The road to this spot was paved thankfully, and the sites actually had pull through kinda loops that people had cleared the bigger rocks from. I would say this area... Read more

"Free but annoying"

Glad this was only 20 minutes outside of the 29 Palms JT entrance, it was convenient for park access. As the previous reviewer mentioned (we were there at the same time!) there was a lot of rude behavior from people hauling through the dust in... Read more

"Pretty good site!"

The road in is pretty annoying from all the washboarding. There’s surprisingly not that many sites along this road, even though the drive feels super long. We camped about 25 minutes back on this road and it was quiet except for the off road... Read more

"Secluded & Open"

Nice open space with some Sedona red rocks on the horizon. Wish it was less of a washboard 20-40 minute drive out here... kinda annoying. Surprisingly not that many spots for how long of a drive it was. But overall quiet and super pretty sunrises... Read more

"Super close to Grand Canyon!"

Really easy access and SO close to the canyon! Large spots with fire rings, big rig friendly. Great free site! Lots of wasps though & tons of traffic on the dirt road... we think there might be logging or something down the road. Like 25 cars... Read more

"Beautiful! Don’t get stuck though!"

We love this spot! It’s huge and has plenty of space to not have close neighbors. Amazing sunrises and sunsets! Beware - do NOT take the road to the RIGHT of the main parking lot. Turn LEFT BEFORE the paved parking lot. We got stuck because we... Read more

"Favorite boondocking!"

Wow - LOVED this place!!! So many areas spread out to camp at, perfect for trailers, RVs, and tent camping alike. We found a secluded spot tucked into the amazing rocks not too far off the main road. Amazing sunrises and sunsets! Zero complaints.... Read more

"Beautiful views! Glass & trash problem"

We LOVED our stay here! Amazing views, no noise, not too much company around. Would definitely stay here again passing through Utah! The only downside was the amount of broken glass and trash! The wind also got really loud in the evening.

"Secluded but can be busy"

Our first 3 week nights here we were very secluded and had no neighbors! Super nice that it’s only 10 minutes from Arches entrance, and beautiful views with lots of options to park and be spread out. On the 4th night (Thursday evening) a ton of... Read more

"Not Accessible Anymore!"

We were stoked to boondock out here, but it appears pretty recent that huge trenches, boulders, and dirt mounds have been created to block all possible boondocking. We have a trailer and there was zero options on the whole road. Looked like new... Read more
