Smooth dusty road, nice first site on the left, cool creek, clean vault toilets, overall clean camp, some flies. Good rest day for me and the van. 2 bars Verizon towards opening of canyon.

Some road noise close to site. Overall pleasant overnight. One tenter and a camper in that section with no vehicles, but came in after I turned in.

Stayed a night, super windy road on the way up. It is cooler than Boise. One other van and an unoccupied camper. Open parking lot so can’t really set up chairs or table outside. Vault toilets down the mountain a few miles at Stacked Rock Trailhead.
