"Good"

We stayed one night on the way back home, just 2 days after the campground opened for the season (4/24). Not a soul in sight, no host and no other campers. Fine by us, it is a nice place, right on the river. Easy on and off I-84 at the junction... Read more

"In a pinch it'll do..."

Staying in a parking lot isn't high on our desirability list, but after having some car problems up at Silver Island Mountains Dry Lake (BLM), the Shell Truck stop next door to the Nugget turned out to be a fine for the night. Only a few trucks... Read more

"Good"

We intended to stay here overnight, but found we had some issues with the car on arriving and instead drove to West Wendover, took care of the car and stayed in the truck parking next to the Nugget Casino. But we would have no problem returning... Read more

"Very cool"

Yes we will definitely be back. Our first trip to Lake Powell, and staying at Lone Rock was just what we wanted. The lake level is pretty low right now, so the distance from "beach" parking to the water was something like 150 yards, but it made... Read more

"Very Nice"

Six camp spots (officially) but there is some overflow across the road, 3 night max stay and $14/night ($7 with a senior pass). Convenient to the dam, Page and Wahweap. The rock outlined trail that leads through and around the "beehives" WSW of... Read more

"very nice"

Yes, yes and yes to all the previous positives. We're 5 weeks gone and heading home. After 4 days boon docking around Lake Powell posh digs like this is a pleasant change. Green farm land to the west and nice views of Mts Nebo and Bald right... Read more

"Nice sites"

It's an 8 mile run from Santa Rosa out to the lake on good paved road. The sites are fine, big and well spaced. The campground is clean and easy to navigate. You need to reserve a spot ahead, you can't just show up and grab an open spot. T... Read more

"good"

Just outside Las Cruces with easy on/off I-10. Rv park is nice; clean, level, gravel and the cell/wifi is fine. The motel has some great retro architecture, a plus for me, but from the outside it looks like the ongoing refurb/remodel work still... Read more

"Great"

Nice clean pleasant place to spend a few days. Convenient to Tombstone and Bisbee. Large (40 x 80) pull throughs, with good wifi and cable. There is a small turn out with access to the San Pedro River a couple miles east on Hwy 82 which looked... Read more

"Good for an overnight"

It worked well for a nights stay... close to I-5, fuel and fast food, along the hwy to Crescent City (199). Sites are good size, pull thru, level with grass and shade trees. Overall nice, a quiet and easy stop.
