We stayed a little further in on the right. Came back to the left side the next day to ride our mtn bikes into the Little Black Mountain Petroglyphs. Well worth it. 10 miles / 16 kms loop

It is a 3 mile / 5km rough road and well worth the drive. Pass the first wide open obvious camping spot on your left.
Go to the circle with the outhouse. (Likely need own toilet supplies)
Camp here.
There are no official mtb trails right here...
