"Our favourite TT so far"

The road in seemed newly paved. Even without the new surface it didn’t seem as steep or narrow as you sometimes get when using dispersed campsites. It was occasionally narrow and large vehicles may need to move over but most should be fine.... Read more

"I’d like to not stay here again but it gives great access to LA"

It’s just a dusty parking lot, really. The bridge is still out. The bathrooms are ok. Make sure you check your electric before setting up, many aren’t working and most have signs but not all. A train goes by multiple times a day. A long... Read more

"Nice spot, very windy in Spring"

We camped here for about a week in June. The wind really ripped through at night but it wasn’t so bad to make us want to leave. The campsite is nice and nicely maintained (minus the bugs in the pit toilet). Every site has pavilions and picnics... Read more

"We liked it! "

Camp is crowded, not for the dedicated dispersed camper! and when we were there (just after lockdown) it certainly had a party atmosphere. The facilities are nice and the bathrooms are clean but they do have a weird “railroad style” shower... Read more

"Cheap with access to SF"

We stayed here as a cheap option for getting into SF (around March 13-19) and for that it was great. It is muddy, loud (the rec. vehicles can drive directly in front of the sites and the tracks are directly behind, they start early and end... Read more

"Good enough"

We sheltered in place here for about 15 weeks, left for one, then returned or another two weeks. The park is good. Well maintained, but there are a lot of areas that aren’t in use (outside of lockdown restrictions), including a few bathrooms... Read more

"Clean and Straight Forward"

Stayed here for two nights for the showers. Bathrooms were clean enough. Everything worked and it was a pleasant stay. Sites are right on the loop roads. We felt like we had privacy because it wasn't very full during our stay but during high... Read more

"Peaceful spot with nice beaches and a massive dam! "

This place is pretty great! There are quite a few spots right at the lake and then more if you search around the surrounding woods. There are three pit toilets that are maintained better than any I've ever seen (cleaned 4 times during our 14 day... Read more

"Fine camp, very far off the beaten path - IT IS OPEN"

This camp was fine. About 6 sites, all nice and a pit toilet. No cell service unless you hiked up the hills. A lot of people come and go through the night and there were some sketchy trashy things around (like an abandoned car and a human wig... Read more
