"Parked and worked all day"

We didn’t use any of the facilities except for truck parking. Cell signal with AT&T was good enough to work all day including video calls. There’s also power near booths inside. You have to have a Love’s card for their WiFi though.

"A quiet night by the dam"

Stayed here one night. The park was active during the day with people playing disc golf & kids in the playground. This is a very quiet spot with restrooms and plenty of picnic tables. There were still signs & lights up from the holiday light... Read more

"Just a quick stop"

This is one of the older (aka smaller) rest areas along I10 in West Texas. Not a lot of space and it's all parallel to the road. Didn't actually spend the night here, but was pleasantly surprised to see the free dump station WITH potable... Read more

"No power"

We made it to Silverton and tried to hook up at this neat little city park. The three power pedestals are still there, but we were unable to get power from one of them. We did not try any of the others as one was broken (50 amp) and the other was... Read more

"The very definition of convenience fee!"

After boondocking for a week under very windy conditions, having full hookups was a nice break. We only meant to stay a night or two to visit the caverns but wind and soreness made us wait another night. We paid for 50 amp hookups which put us... Read more

"Free & Easy"

This was very easy to pull up to and turn around. They only have rinse water, but it was quite convenient. The hose was one that stays kinked so we were able to feed it through our bathroom window and attach our rinse tool to the end of it to get... Read more

"Gateway to Fort Stanton"

We camped here specifically to visit the Fort Stanton Historical Site nearby. Since we had planned to dry camp anyway, the lack of available hookups was no big deal. There were lots of other rigs when we got there including horse trailers.... Read more

"Easy Peasy"

Once you turn off the highway onto Monticello Point Road, there are two parking areas very close. We stayed in the one on the left-hand side. It was very easy to pull in and out. There wasn't a lot of traffic, but we did see other rigs coming and... Read more

"Facilities closed for repair"

We needed a place to reconnect between boondocking spots and the NM State Parks are pretty inexpensive so we ended up on Lions Beach Loop A. The first thing we needed to do was dump tanks so we followed the signs to the dump station (near our... Read more
