"Great location for accessing the park and area hiking"

I wouldn't suggest this is the most scenic campgrounds in the world, but in terms of accessibility, it's excellent. Ten minutes to RMNP's west entrance. About the same into Grand Lake. And, hiking, literally from your campsite (the Continental... Read more

"One of the best dispersed camping areas yet"

We decided to head to the BV/Salida area for a few days in route from SW CO up to Rocky Mountain National Park. While in the area we wanted to have fun at Browns Adventure Park, hike a 14er or two, and take a soak in Mt Princeton Hot Springs. We... Read more

"Did the job"

"Easy in and out"

We were on our way from SW CO to the Tetons & stayed here on the way. Nice sites with power hookups. The reservoir was still empty, otherwise the water would have been up to our site. Pull through sites made for an easy in & out. I suppose there... Read more

"Great place to use as a homebase for the East"

Stayed 3 nights in late June. Easy access to Many Glacier area (30 minutes north), Going to the Sun (it's on it), walking trail to Visitor Center. Bathrooms were kept clean and showers were adequate (not the Ritz, people). Sites were well... Read more
