Some of my family live in California or I might not have visited this state. It's so expensive. On travel days we like to overnight, but CA doesn't allow this in most parking lots. This was a gem to find. Freeeee. And who doesn't like a rooster...

On our way south this CG was a nice find. Not to expensive and participates with Passport America and the second day was discounted 10%. It's also close to the Avenue of the Giants. I didn't find any creepy people here, everyone was helpful and...

We didn't have a problem finding our site. The road is nice, we just went straight past the gravel piles and took a right off the main road. This was a quiet site but very dirty. There was the trail head down the dirt road, but we explored the...

Convenient overnight stop. The road in is only slightly washbordy. Not enough room by the pit toilet for more than an RV and a couple tents. The cows are nice to hear in the morning, and the dog loved the river.

My first time at a KOA. This location was just right for us to see Devils Tower, and if we hadn't had break problems we would have only stayed two days.(dogs aren't allowed on the hiking trails)... I would have given this a higher rating except...
