"Don’t use the showers or bathrooms"

Brantley is a very nice state park. The lake is great and there are lots of walking trails. The RV sites all had electric/water and great views of the lake and Chihuahuan desert. Both Verizon and ATT work well here. The bathrooms and showers are... Read more

"Just OK"

RV sites were nice and level and had water and electric. Restrooms were not clean. There are a lot of wetlands around the campground which made it very buggy (lots of biting flies and mosquitos). So it was difficult to spend much time outside... Read more

"Very nice park"

Very nice park. Restrooms very clean. AT&T great service but no Verizon service. All the water/electric RV sites have a covered casita picnic area. Felt safe because the rangers patrol frequently.

When we arrived at the end of September the water was shut off, the dump station was closed and the flush toilets were closed. This information should have been posted on the website or on the highway sign before you turn onto a very bumpy and... Read more

"Do not attemt with a 30' or larger fifth wheel or RV"

The lake is located 12 miles off I-90. The first two miles are paved and the final 10 miles are on a single lane dirt national forest service road. There are very few places to pull over if you encounter another vehicle coming in the opposite... Read more
