"Horrible Cancelation Policy and Customer Service"

I was the first to review this campground in 2016 ( I gave 5 stars at that time) and wanted to update with our last experience. We had to cancel due to Covid-19 restrictions in this town (not allowing visitors but this RV park was open). They kept... Read more

"Beach front, clean but old "

We needed a place to stay near the in-laws and this was the closest and best rated. Your experience here is 100% going to depend on the weather and beach conditions. Coming from Destin we were not impressed for a number of reasons: -$130 is... Read more

"Stay only if you have to be close to town"

All hook-up sites start in the $50 range for summer and full hook-ups are upper $50s. It's a run down KOA with an old 70's pool, close together sites, cable hookups on the wrong side, road noise, and TENGO internet. If it was $40 I would say it's... Read more

"Our secret cell service spot, huge site, beautiful views"

Okay so we were here on a cold spell in June and half the sites were still snow covered so our experience may be a bit different. We arrived on a Thursday afternoon and had our pick of spots. We were told the F loop had electric so we went there.... Read more

"Forest camping on the river"

We were planning to stay in site 7 (one of the only sites there large enough for a trailer) at Salmon Creek Falls Campground when a site just west of the campground opened up. This is a dispersed site so we did not have to pay. We could literally... Read more

"Unlimited Ice Cream, shade, river access, pool, very friendly!"

After 4 days dispersed camping we stayed here to refresh. First off, Randy the owner, is really nice and laid back. The grounds are pristine, laundry is cheap ($1.25 to wash, $1.00 to dry). They have a self serve ice cream machine in the pavilion,... Read more

"Great basecamp for the Lost Coast mountain bike trails. Bike Park in the camp!"

We camped here because of the Paradise Royale Mountain Bike trails and bike park. It is an amazing little spot deep in The Lost Coast. The downside is that it's really hard to get there with a trailer/camper. The hwy in to Shelter Cove is steep... Read more

"Typical RV park with amazing cove in front."

I thought this park had more space than some others (although I can tell some other sites do not) and the grounds are well maintained. The key for us was close access to surfing and mountain bike trails. The laundry room was pretty bad. It... Read more
