Carefully follow directions posted here. Don’t get stuck in Cordova like we did. This Drive up here is not for the faint of heart. Narrow roads. It rained everyday we were here. Mid July. We pulled a45 ft toyhauler up there. 4x4 would be needed...
Tight turns and small sites. Tents and smaller RVs. Easy off I40 thru town
Price was right so we booked a pull thru. Slides ar smack against pedestal, right on top of neighbors. I have nothing positive to add.
Lots of issues bring a 42 ft fiver here. The entrance off highway is very steep and narrow. Roads in Campground are narrow and not big rig nice. Dump station and headquarters are at top of a VERY steep grade. Lots of dragging and tires off the road.
Used our Senior pass. First come First served. 50/30amp, h2o, and sewer. First night lost power due to dust storm for 4 hours. There are 14 full hook ups plus dry camping.
Choose the dry lake bed, go left at fork. Huge area of spaces. 45 ft fifth wheel no problem in or out. Gravel base and decent road into BLM area.
Nice campground, lake is very low. 30 Amp only. We have a 45 ft fifth wheel and got around fine. Some sites are not very level, all gravel surfaced. The Rv sites are 3 sites side by side. We were here May 1 and nobody here yet.
